Why this vehicle
A school cannot form an operator.It has no work to form them in.
Character is formed under consequence: a crew, a budget, a customer, a job going wrong on a Friday. A school has none of it. A company has all of it.

The method
A filter, not a funnel.
A school that measures enrolment will always admit one more. An institution that employs its graduates cannot afford to.
Filter
Character is screened at the gate. Admission is not tenure. People who cannot be trusted are removed without delay, and that is the point of the stage.
Forge
Formation happens inside real work — stretch assignments, pressure, and close observation of how someone responds — under years of mentorship from masters who still do the work.
Flourish
Phronesis: knowing the right thing to do in the case in front of you, when no procedure covers it.
The measure is not enrolment, and not the paper we hand out. It is what a person is ten years out.
The standard
Demanded on day one.Not aspired to.

Judgment belongs to the work. Rank and reputation do not.

The standard is kept on the day nobody is watching.

The tracks
Two paths. Neither runs through the other.
Craftsmen
Track IForms master‑builders in the trades the group operates. Admits newcomers and experienced tradesmen alike.
Principal
Track IIForms the operators who will run the companies. Admission is on its own terms, judged on the same standard.
Nobody manages what they have not done. Both tracks are entered at the gate, and both are held to it.
Most will not be advanced.
